Sometimes sessions don't quite go the way we envisioned them. It could be the weather or that our location had recently had a huge burn-off (insert big eye roll) and isn't looking as good as it would normally. Or sometimes, it's that our little ones are just not up for it at that moment, and no matter how many cuddles we give them, they just don't feel up to playing the game. And you know what, that's OK. In fact, it's more than OK – it's perfectly normal.  Our little ones are little people with big emotions, and sometimes those emotions take center stage.

My recent session with this incredible family and soon-to-be-weds was a beautiful reminder that love truly conquers all, even unexpected turns! While things might not have gone exactly as planned, the genuine connection and overflowing affection between this couple stole the show. We embraced the moment and captured some truly authentic moments – sunshine and tears included.

So next time a session doesn't go exactly according to plan, take a deep breath, snuggle those little ones close, and remember – the most precious moments are often the messy, unscripted ones. (Plus don't forget there is always the option to try again another day)
