Cake smash photography session with family portraits
Recently we have upgraded our cake smash photography packages to also offer an option of family and siblings portraits.
One of my favourite things about these sessions is that we can really add some variety to your session by doing part of it in the studio and part of it at a choice of 2 outdoor locations! So not only do you get a custom cake smash & bath but also in studio and outdoor photos!
We are one of the ONLY photography studios in Adelaide to offer this!
Before the cake smash we will spend approx 30-45 mins capturing natural family, sibling and birthday child images. You can choose for your shoot to be done at any of the following:
Location A or B & studio
In the warmer months - all at location A or B - including the cake smash
All in the studio
Each outdoor location that we use is less than 5 minutes from our studio to keep travel time to an absolute minimum. Each location is also quite different to the other. Below are a collection of photos from each spot for you to be able to choose which location you’d like to use.
Location A - The Park. It’s a lovely spot with a lake in the centre and built up around the sides to create the perfect quiet area for photos. It’s always green, well looked after and has perfect light for photography early in the morning.
Location B - The Wetlands. This location is more of a bush setting. Lovely and green with clover during the cooler months and much drier with amazing sunsets during summer. The long grassy areas and leading gravel paths give this location a gorgeous look all of it’s own.
Or of course we can stay in the studio for the whole session.
Once we have finished the pre smash portraits we will move straight into the messy part - the cake smash! Everything will already be set up and waiting for us at the studio.
We will finish the shoot with a bath for the birthday child to ensure they are nice and clean for the drive home.
