2026 Christmas Mini Sessions!

Our Outdoor Mini Sessions go for just 20 minutes but that’s plenty of time to photograph the whole crew together, sweet solo shots of the kids, and even a few loved up parents images.

Our Awkward sessions are just 10 minutes, but we’ve found that is plenty of time to zoom through a ton of poses! The chaos just adds to the laughs!

Wear whatever your family would normally be embarrassed to be seen in.

Think loud, clashing or completely matching outfits, fashion crimes from decades past, or anything that would get you funny looks at the shops. Matching Christmas pyjamas and ugly Christmas jumpers work brilliantly too.

The more committed you are, the better the photos.

So many options here! Consider your background - if you’re going to be in a lush green garden, then wearing deep red will help you to stand out from the background and add some depth to your images. Lighter or more earthy tones in an urban setting can provide a more whimsy or harmonious feel to your images.

Our top tips are to avoid anything neon or with writing/pictures/large logos as these designs will steal the show and draw the eye away from the main feature.

Mini Sessions are short and sweet with a set date, location, and limited availability with multiple families being photographed at the same location on the same day. They’re designed to capture a handful of beautiful images in a simple, relaxed way. Minis are perfect for updating family photos, celebrating milestones, or getting seasonal portraits (like Christmas).

Full Sessions are a completely personalised experience as they are only about your family. They run longer at up to 90 minutes and you’re able to choose a date and location that works for you. They give us time for outfit changes and more time to explore our location which equals more variety in your backdrop and plenty of variety in your gallery.

Full Sessions are ideal if you’d like a bigger collection of images, wall art, albums, or a session tailored to your family’s unique story.

In short: Mini Sessions are a taste, while Full Sessions are the whole feast.

Absolutely! Pets are just as much part of the family and always invited too.

Each session includes 5 people and you can add extras for $10 person.

No charge for pets if they are from your own household.

Yes! The sessions run on different days, so you can book both.

Awkward sessions will have a quick viewing right after your session so that you can choose your photos on the spot.

For Outdoor sessions, we will make a time to meet up again about a week after your session, either in our Paralowie studio, or via Zoom.
