Before the doubt, before the world told you who to be - just as you are, you are enough
Our ‘You Are Enough’ Project is a gentle, supportive portrait experience for tweens & teens of Adelaide.
This age can be a difficult one, often filled with comparison, pressure, self-doubt, and the feeling of needing to be ‘more’ or ‘different’ to belong.
This project was created as a quiet counter-message to that noise.
In this personal project of Michelle’s, the goal is to not only give them (and you) a fun and memorable experience, but also to give them proof of just how amazing they are in the hope that they will not only see it with their own eyes, but truly feel it with their heart.
These sessions are created with care and intention. There is no expectation for confidence, posing, or performance. No pressure to look older, act differently, or be anything other than who they are right now.
Each session is approached with care, patience, and respect for your child’s comfort and boundaries. The focus is on helping them feel safe, seen, and accepted - not on changing or ‘fixing’ anything about them.
The intention is simple, but powerful: to give tweens & teens a moment where they are reminded - visually and emotionally - that they are enough, just as they are.
This project is about you being you.
You don’t need to look a certain way.
You don’t need to act a certain way.
You don’t need to be confident, smile perfectly, or know how to pose.
You can be quiet, loud, silly, serious, unsure, or somewhere in between.
This is a space where you are allowed to show up exactly as you are, and be seen that way.
There is no right or wrong — just you.
We had incredible feedback about the positive impact our sessions had on our models during our last You Are Enough series so even more excited to do it all again!!
We are now taking applications for sessions being held in our Paralowie studio and at a nearby outdoor location.
These sessions will take place over 4 days only:
Sunday April 7th - in studio
Wednesday April 17th - in studio (school holidays)
Thursday April 25th - in studio (Anzac Day)
Saturday April 27th - hair and make up in studio, shoot during sunset an outdoor location just 15 mins away
What is included in the session?
One hour portrait session
Professional hair & makeup (minimal make up as they are perfect as they are - it’s just a fantastic opportunity to pamper them)
Multiple outfits and backgrounds
Complete posing guidance during the session
In-person viewing and ordering session
Being featured in our ‘YOU ARE ENOUGH’ project
If your child is selected for our project then you and your child will be invited to meet Michelle in studio or via Zoom to discuss the flow of the session, consider wardrobe options, talk about what you would like to get out of our session together and answer any questions you might have.
We will ask your tween/teen to bring a variety of outfits to our pre session meeting to plan what will be worn for the shoot, plus they are welcome to choose from our studio wardrobe.
Each session will require a $300 deposit which you will receive back as a print credit when you view the final collection at your in person viewing. Please note that no images (digital or printed) are included with the session. These will be purchased separately at your viewing. You can view our full pricing and studio information here.

Requirements:
You must sign a full model release for your child.
A $300 deposit is required to secure your session time and date. This will be returned to you as a print credit to spend at your in person viewing.
Your deposit is not refundable AFTER the session has been held.
You must be ok with the images being used on social media, our website, marketing etc.
Any purchases from the session must be made at your in person viewing approx 1-3 weeks after our session.
You must sign a contract agreeing to the above.
